Giving Back
Chester Engineers employees volunteer their resources to participate in various activities in the local communities where they work and live.
Our Charleroi office sponsors boys’ and girls’ basketball teams in the Mon Valley by providing uniforms for them. Our Moon Township office employees take part in the ALCOSAN annual open-house activities by conducting water-focused demonstrations or performing as tour guides through the sanitation plant for the public.

Community Gardening Project
It was a beautiful Saturday for planting flowers in Moon Township, PA. Thirty-two Chester employees and family members volunteered to participate in our community participation event to commemorate our Centennial Year. The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy was thrilled to have so many individuals show up at their very first day of the planting season and we received the following compliment:
"Your group from Chester was the hit of the first day of planting season. Our staff was so impressed with all the hard workers that came to help plant. The staff was so happy to get the planting finished in 2 ½ hours, that is a record breaking time! Thank you so much for all your help organizing this."
