Chester Engineers, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA since 1910, has offices in strategic US markets and affiliates worldwide. 

Our Gaithersburg, MD office has an exciting job opportunity for a Staff Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing professional consulting office. Candidate will work with and be mentored by strong, nationally recognized, senior technical staff. We are looking for someone who is interested in helping lead and develop the growth and profitability of the engineering group. 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Technical support for studies, designs and construction management of site development, water, wastewater and civil engineering projects. Responsible for AutoCAD drafting, field data collection, engineering calculations, design layouts, development of written reports and construction overviews. 

Knowledge/Skill/Ability Requirements: 
• 2+ years of Engineering experience 
• AutoCAD proficiency required 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from accredited university. Civil engineering preferred 
• Engineer Intern or P.E. is preferred
